This bracelet has been created as a visual reminder of hope; and a symbol of solidarity and support for those dealing with anxiety, depression and other mental health issues.
It has also been designed as a ’grounding’ tool; to help ease the symptoms of anxiety and overwhelm.
What is ‘grounding’?
When your mind is racing, ‘grounding’ is a simple technique that can bring you back to the here-and-now. In a nutshell, grounding helps you to hone your focus back to the present moment; instead of remaining trapped in a snowball of anxious thoughts/feelings.
How do you use the bracelet?
Wear it constantly, and think of it as your portable stress object. When ever you find yourself feeling panicked, irritated, upset or distressed; stop and look at the little heart bead on your bracelet. Take a moment to focus purely on the heart.
Twist the heart between your fingers, and breath deeply and slowly for ten seconds (or more) as you do so. Focus on the physical feeling of the bead between your fingertips, and regulating your breathing. This will have a calming effect on you, and help you to return to the present.
What does it help with?

Will it work?
It doesn’t always help, as sometimes symptoms can be too severe. Or sometimes you may simply forget to use this practice. However, it can be extremely effective, and often does help. It is an amazingly effective tool to have in your emotional wellbeing tool kit!
Do I have to be experiencing anxiety or depression to wear the bracelets?
Not at all! This bracelet will hold special significance to those who wear it. The bracelets have been created with multiple purposes at heart. One of these purposes is to show solidarity and support for those dealing with mental health issues. To show our brothers and sisters that they are not alone.
There are so many people struggling in silence, and this is a way to open dialogue and begin conversation. A way to get voices heard. A way to turn the pain into something beautiful, and connect with each other.
When should I use the bracelet?
Whenever you find yourself overwhelmed or distracted by distressing memories, thoughts or feelings. If you find yourself being swept up in anger or anxiety. If you find yourself trapped in an endless loop of unhealthy thoughts. If you experience painful memories or flashbacks, or if you wake up in the middle of night with a pounding heart and panic attacks. Basically any time that it would be helpful to bring yourself back down to earth.
How do these bracelets help the wider community?
They are a visual way to connect and support anyone dealing with mental health issues. A way to break existing stigmas, and invite conversation to take place.
